It supports natural defences of the skin while providing a moist environment. It is an isotonic hydrogel acting as a bandage when applied on skin of canines and equines. Derma Jell is non-toxic if licked. Allows bandages to be removed without trauma to the healing wound. Also works by providing a protective film which prevents the wound from drying out and also allows for the cells within the skin to move freely as they work on the healing process. Maintains a moist wound environment to prevent scab formation
